CSV Import Help

  1. Upload a small Etsy CSV first.Start with a short date range so you can confirm the format before importing a large file.
  2. Preview the first 10 rows.Make sure the file looks like sales or order data before mapping columns.
  3. Check the auto-mapped fields.Auto-mapping is only a starting point. Review Date, Product Name, Quantity, Sale Price, fees, IDs, and SKU.
  4. Confirm duplicate detection.Duplicates are skipped by default using Order ID, Transaction ID, or Date + Product + Quantity + Sale Price.
  5. Export a backup before a large import.Use Backup Before Import so you can restore or roll back if the CSV was not mapped correctly.

  6. 6. Use rollback if needed.Roll back an import batch in Etsy Import Queue if something needs undoing.

Etsy Auto Sync Settings

Once set up, Etsy sync happens automatically in the background. Matched listings and matched orders sync on their own - only new, unmatched, duplicate, or problem items need your review in Etsy Sync Staging and Etsy Orders Staging.

Read-only from Etsy: Auto Sync never creates, edits, publishes, or deletes anything on Etsy. It only reads Etsy previews and updates safe reference fields locally. A backup snapshot is created automatically before any local change.

Auto Sync is OFF by default. Auto Import Matched Etsy Orders is OFF by default - orders can be reviewed first in Etsy Orders Staging before automatic importing is enabled; later you may turn it on. Auto Create Product Drafts is OFF by default - while off, new Etsy listings are sent to Etsy Sync Staging for your review instead of a Draft being created automatically. Customer Mode is ON by default and controls whether Etsy Live Preview Test, Etsy Sync Staging, Etsy Orders Staging, and Etsy Import Queue appear as their own left-nav tabs - turning it off never deletes those screens, they stay reachable from the Advanced Etsy Tools hub and the Dashboard's Open Advanced Etsy Tools button.

Auto Sync only runs while this local app server is open. It never keeps retrying if Etsy rate-limits a request - it waits and uses cached preview data instead.

  1. Backend not running.Start the app with the .bat file and keep the black server window open.
  2. Etsy not connected.Go to Settings and click Connect Etsy.
  3. Listings preview fails.Check Etsy scopes and app approval.
  4. Orders preview fails.Check Etsy scopes and transactions permission.
  5. No listings found.Confirm the Etsy shop has listings and the connected account has shop access.
  6. No orders found.This may be normal if the shop has no recent Etsy orders.

Review-only: This is review-only. No Etsy listings or product records are changed until you choose an action.
Read-only: Preview refresh is read-only. It does not import, edit, publish, delete, or sync Etsy listings or sales.

First-time setup: Match each Etsy listing once. After a listing is matched, future refreshes should remember the match. New products later: Only new unmatched Etsy listings should need review.
